Knowledge or Excellent Result

talked to Mr. Orbit

i was about asking him for having lunch tomorrow,but somehow we discuss about this.

im not in my mood to talk because sakit perut, plus im not good at talking n defense myself.

but he's good! really good in talking (bg ceramah, membebel and so on. hehee)

our conversation 80% about this:

we came to one situation where the point is about which is much more important: knowledge or excellent pointer?

HIS OPINION

He thinks that knowledge is more important than to get excellent pointer. For example, he dont concentrate at all to any subject that he thinks is ridiculous such as 'isu semasa'. His lecturer only explained about something refers to books, not the real 'isu semasa' that really happens..on Earth! Hmmm.. so, he makes a conclusion that its ok for not getting an excellent pointer. All he cares only for the useful knowledge for his future.

MY OPINION

I totally agree about his opinion, but not all. Yeah, knowledge is much more important than getting an excellent results or pointer. I admit that the purpose we study is to gain knowledge, to understand about once concept that really help us in the future. One thing that im not very much agree is about 'dont care about results'. In my opinion, results or pointer is also very important. Why? Because:

1) Pointer is the measurement of how well do we understand about once topic or how well we know the knowledge and skills. The measurement is taken from the Examination/ Test/ Assessment. Why i said that this measurement is important to take? It is because, people will judge us according to the results achievement. Even when we apply for job hunting, what is they look at first? Name? Age? Picture? Hobbies? aha! nope, they look at Academic achievement first (approved by one of Human Resource i met before). The academic achievement level is important for classification to once company for hiring process.

But some of company, they did not look at the academic achievement. What they look is to the candidates' credibility and ability to work as they already know the basic of once thing. For example, IT company. They usually wants to hire someone that know about JAVA, ORACLE, C++, just to list a few. because IT nowadays is the major subjects for all kind of things! as the technology born bigger n bigger. From my experience as a JoB HuNteR, i observed that the hot and hit vacancies is...... SOFTWARE ENGINEER DEVELOPER, IT CONSULTANT, PROGRAMMER, ++ MORE. Well, i guess for certain course only. Company like Astro and Maxis: the minimum CGPA must be 3.5 out of 4. OMG. and they did look at the pointer first.

2) If there are company that never look at academic achievement level, then why we have to hurt ourselves study? AHAHAHA! what the question laa?! aiseh. Ok, i noe some of the company did not look at the results. But. Its difficult la to find jobs. We dont know which company that not look at results first. So, to make our heart a lil bit calm..and easier for us to find a job, then SCORE LA EXAM! isnt it easier to find jobs? If not score pun its ok, at least pass the qualification.

3) and ONE more important thing is : sejuk hati makpak hantar mengaji, tak sia-sia diorg bagi duit utk belajar. when our old people look at the results slip, what we expect more rather than a smiley face from them? kan? hehehe. And of course, we have to get good results so that when ppl ask us,then we're not shy shy to tell. :)))

I admit that knowledge is the most most thing that very2 important to our future. and I admit, not all that we studied will apply to our life or future. But, i think.. even we have to study useless subjects in campus, why not we just concentrate and receive the knowledge given by lecturer open minded-ly. InsyaAllah, we gain something from it. Setidak tidaknya, kita dapat restu dari lecturer kita kan?

Students, i would like to remind that do not catch the excellent results if your intention is only to show off and no space for knowledge to come in. (sblum exam giler2 hafal, lepas exam lupa abis) hahaha. I used to be like that, syukur final year realize but its too late. dont be like me, okay? :)

my conclusion:

GAIN KNOWLEDGE IS IMPORTANT.

GET GOOD POINTER IS VITAL.

woman: saja je call...

man: la u yg call i..u nak ape?

(notes: no need to reply her like that. she calls u because she miss u and want to hear your voice. Because she thinks bout u. bout your day, bout you health, etc. Please guys, be more gentle!)

case 2-

man: hello..are you ok?

woman: im not ok....i have a problem..

man: what is it?

woman: hmmmm....hmmm... its ok, xde apelah..

man: pulak dah..td kata ada problem.. u selalu mcm ni.. lambat nk gtau problem u..susah la i mcm ni.

woman: (silent)

(notes: when woman silent, means die touch with your words. guys, woman cannot tell you when u guys in rushing and force her to speak. what the woman need is your soft voice..your pujuk! utk lembutkan hati woman yg tgh risau tu. kamon la guys, jgn paksa dia lg utk cerita. i noe you guys care bout your woman but its not the way. lagi susah kalo pompuan tu merajuk. be nice to her, pujuk them with your soft voice.. and after she calm, then she can story mory her problem! easy! and please dont perli her when she's in upset mood..)

dear guys,

dont blame your woman if she act like case 2. Because these facts:

1) woman doesnt need you to find a solution to her problem.

2) woman need you to calm her down, to borrow your shoulder.

please guys, be her 'sapu tangan' ! not her 'solver machines' !!!

i know you guys really hate tears and merajuk things. facts:

1) woman born with a sensitive heart.

2) woman easily touched to your rude words, to your unsponsored words!

its true sometimes you guys only joking.. but is your woman turns out to merajuk.. nak buat cane gi... pujuk la kejap.. nnti cair la tu.. i bet you woman can be easily melting with your soft words. tp kalau your woman nak merajuk sampai seminggu..susah le~ jarang jumpe pompuan merajuk advance2 ni. although she's in period pun..xkn punye merajuk lama2.. gives her YOUR FLOWERY2 WORDS...hah! cair la jap lg.. senang je la..jgn la emo2 ckp susah. hish!
